US FUSION & Specialty Construction provides complete plastic piping systems including: most types of weldable plastic pipe, fittings, pre fab systems, flanges, valves, fasteners, gaskets, and accessories for your pipe project. We supply HDPE, Polypropylene, PVC & PVDF among other specialty materials.


US FUSION supplies and installs HDPE pressure pipe from 1/2" – 65". HDPE pipe is fusion welded together and the weld is as strong as the original pipe, making it ideal for pressure applications. HDPE pipe are produced in either 40-50’ joints as well coils. Coiled pipe ranges from ½” – 8” in 150’ – 1500’ coils.

Polypropylene (PP) is a member of the polyolefin family; PP is one of the lightest plastics known. It possesses excellent chemical resistance to many acids, alkalies and organic solvents. PP is one of the best materials to use for systems exposed to varying PH levels, as many plastics do not handle both acids and bases as well. It is not recommended for use with hydrocarbons and aromatics. Its upper temperature limit is 195º (90º C). US FUSION provides pipe and fittings for acid waste drainage and high purity product systems that our customers have come to rely on for leak free joints. Our supplier can provide assistance with technical specialists to insure maximum effectiveness of design and usage. (PP systems: 1"-24" pressure rated systems in single and dual wall systems). For high purity and ultra high purity systems, US FUSION, LLC can supply ideal systems for the transportation of de-ionized or distilled water or other liquids where a high degree of purity is required.

Polyvinylidene fluoride (PVDF) is a high molecular weight fluorocarbon and has superior abrasion resistance, dielectric properties and mechanical strength. These characteristics are maintained over a temperature range of -40º F (-40º C) to 250º F (121º C), with a limited usage range extended to 302º F (178º C). PVDF is highly resistant to wet or dry chlorine, bromine and other halogens, most strong acids, aliphatics, aromatics, alcohols and chlorinated solvents.


Dual containment piping systems are engineered to protect our eco-system from the dangers of exposed aggressive chemicals. The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has directed the underground transport of hazardous materials can be protected from release into the environment in its Standard 40 CFR, Part 280 & 281. In order to be in compliance, systems must:

  • Be Dual Contained
  • Have Automated Leak Detection for Pressurized Systems
  • Have at least Manual Leak Detection for Drainage Systems
  • Have Outer Containment Able to Retain Media Transport for a Minimum of 30 Days
  • Double containment should be specified for more applications than regulated by the EPA. Hazardous chemicals should be protected from escape in areas where there are chemicals transported above work stations, or any other potential safety hazards due to exposure to the media.



Fittings are used to create a change in direction in a short distance. Molded fittings are made by injection molding and are fully pressure rated. The body of a molded fitting is thicker that pipe to maintain the pressure rating. Click here for a list of our molded fittings or Contact a USF Rep.


Fabricated fittings have reduced pressure rating because miter cuts create a change in the diameter of the fitting. Stress is increased because of changes in flow direction. The larger the angle of the miter cut, the greater the stress and the greater the need to decrease the pressure rating to maintain a 2 to 1 safety factor. According to ASTM F1290-90, electrofusion is defined as a heat fusion joining process where the heat source is an integral part of the fitting, such that when an electrical current is applied, heat is produced that melts and joins the plastic. USF offers fully pressure rated fabricated fittings, and a complete package of electrofusion fittings. Corrugated HDPE pipe is easy to recognize due to its highly distinctive “ribbing”. It is used for many applications such as a ‘body guard’ to protect sensitive and/or dangerous cables, or as drainage pipes. HDPE corrugated Pipe is environmentally friendly. Substantial cost savings can be achieved during installation due to its ease of handling, light weight and flexibility. Another interesting application is for animal tunnels, which are placed under main roads to allow animals to cross the road safely.
